A connected network of local sites for Volusia County, Florida — news, community forum, classifieds, video, and podcasts, all built and linked as one ecosystem.
The Challenge
No single hub existed for Volusia County residents to find local news, classifieds, community discussion, video, and podcasts in one connected place — each of these needs was scattered across generic national platforms with no local focus.
The Approach
We designed and built a network of interconnected sites — ForumLA as the community hub with live weather and tide data, NewsLA as a local news aggregator, VolusiaMarket for classifieds, PetBlip for the pet community, VideoLA and PodcastLA for media, and FixItUs for local services — each cross-linked so visitors move naturally between them.
The Result
A self-sustaining local media network of interconnected properties — each site feeding traffic to the others, giving Volusia County one connected home for local news, marketplace listings, and community discussion instead of seven disconnected sites.
